Michael Louis Alexander

Michael Louis Alexander, 45, of Somerset and Miami, Florida, died Friday. He was the companion of Theresa Gillroy of Miami. Born in Fall River, the son of Shirley (Goss) Mello of Fall River and the late Louis "Louie" Alexander, Sr., he lived in Miami Florida for 25 years and Somerset and Fall River for several years. A graduate of Somerset High School, class of 1978, he was the former owner of Harbor Terrace Package Store, Fall River. Besides his companion and mother, survivors include his former wife, Maria (Navarro) Alexander of Pembroke Pines, Florida; a son, Michael Alexander of Pembroke Pines; a daughter, Cristina Alexander of Pembroke Pines; 6 sisters, Tammy Freitas, Helen Amaral, Jodi Hutchins and Michelle Alexander, all of Fall River, Debbie Cordeiro of Taunton and Lauren Alexander Travis of Vermont; 6 brothers, Louis Alexander Jr., Darryll Hutchins and William Hutchins, all of Fall River, Justin Louis Alexander Travis and Michael Travis, both of Vermont and David Gonsalves of Somerset and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was the brother of the late Edmund J. Alexander.
