Maurice Duperre

Maurice Duperre, 87, of Fall River, husband of the late Marie Pauline (Labrecque) Duperre, was called to Heaven on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was employed for many years at Plymouth Rubber, Canton, MA and the Carnival Drive-In, Westport, MA. He enjoyed playing bingo, birdwatching, fishing and sunsets. Maurice was very active in raising funds through walk-a-thons for the American Heart Association. He was a parishioner of Holy Name Parish, Fall River.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Joann Ashley and her husband Dennis J. of E.Freetown and Deborah A. Ouellette and her husband Jim of Seekonk (formerly of Berkley).; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Amanda Ashley; a brother, Raymond Duperre and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Juliette Lepage, Alfred, Albert, Wilfred, Henry and Roland Duperre and the son of the late Pierre and Loria (Doucette) Duperre.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. from Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S.Main St. with a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church, at 10:00 a.m. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to American Heart Assn.
