Maurice J. "Moe" Donovan

Maurice J. "Moe" Donovan, 69, formerly of Stafford Rd., Fall River, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010. A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1958, he was employed by Stop & Shop Supermarkets for 45 years and retired from the Massachusetts Army National Guard after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Corky Row Club, Liberal Club and Fall River Lodge of Elks. He was the son of the late Joseph and Gabrielle (Roy) Donovan; and the brother of Kathleen Ferreira (husband Douglas) of Somerset, Gail Custadio (husband late Stephen) of Dartmouth and the late Carol King (husband Raymond of Gastonia, NC); nieces and nephews, Michael King, Coleen Grenier, Jessica Plonka, Matthew Donovan, Jennifer Medeiros, Todd Custadio, Adam Custadio and Kara Raposo and also leaves many grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
