Maureen (Fontaine) Gagnon

Maureen (Fontaine) Gagnon, 64, of Palmer St., Fall River, wife of Edward Gagnon, died Thursday, December 2, 2010. A former employee of the VFW Post, Westport, she enjoyed traveling and the Atlantic City and Las Vegas casinos. Besides her husband of 38 years, she leaves 2 children, Jennifer Medeiros and her husband Nicholas and Edward Gagnon, Jr., all of Fall River; a stepson, Daniel Gagnon and his wife Christine of Acushnet; grandchildren, Tylor, Daymian and Marissa Medeiros and Jocelyn, Connor and Jordyn Gagnon; siblings, Herbert Fontaine of Portsmouth, RI, Norman Fontaine of East Providence, RI, Louise Gardella of CA, Barbara Bonas of Tiverton, Roger Fontaine of NC, and William Fontaine and Alan Fontaine, both of Fall River; her mother-in-law Imelda (Vezina) Gagnon of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Anna (Kelman) Fontaine, and the sister of the late Gladys Gagne, Anna Smith, Helen Thibault, Jeanne Mello, Joan Lafleur, and Wilfred and Robert Fontaine. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
