Mary (Callahan) Whittaker

Mary C. Whittaker, 80, of Somerset, a retired Fall River School System educator and school principal, entered into rest Thursday, June 2, 2016. Mary was an amazing, giving person who brought sunshine wherever she went. She was a mother, teacher, mentor, therapist and a friend to many. Those lucky enough to have had Mary touch their lives were better people for having known her. She will be missed. She leaves a son, Thomas Clifton Whittaker, Jr. of Dedham; sisters, Geraldine Wise of Dover and Judith Mardula of Somerset and nieces, Rebecca Shin and Sarah Mardula and her son Jackson Richard White. She was the mother of the late Mary Margaret Webster and the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mary (Duffy) Callahan.
