Mary Szczerba

Mary Szczerba, 89, of Emmanuel House, 25 East Nilsson St, Brockton, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center, Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Wojciech and Rozalia (Dyl) Szczerba, she lived in Brockton most of her life. She graduated from the Perkins School For The Blind. She enjoyed dancing, reading brail books and traveling. She is survived by a niece, Frances Fiola of Fall River and several great nieces. She was the sister of the late Sophie Fisher and Stanley J. Serba. Visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. with a service following at 8:15 PM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River. Cremation to follow. Please omit flowers.
