Mary Grace (Larue) Pires

Mary Grace (LaRue) Pires, 87, of Fall River, wife of the late Joseph Pires, Jr., passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. She was employed by Lightolier for many years and enjoyed knitting.

She was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Sarah (Hadfield) LaRue and the sister of the late Delores, Norman, Leo, Rudolph and Ernest LaRue.

She was the mother of Susan Mroz of Fall River and the late Joseph Rudolph Pires; the grandmother of Lisa Furtado (Antonio Furtado), Kimberly Metivier (husband Kevin) and Keith Mroz (wife Jodi); the great-grandmother of Antonio Furtado, Jr., Samantha Metivier, Kaci Furtado, Kylee Mroz, Anndreana Metivier, Keith Mroz, Kevin Metivier, Victoria Furtado, Kenzyngtin Metivier, Lexingtin Mroz and Lilliana Mroz; the great-great grandmother of Ariana Sylvia; and also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
