Mary (Silvia) Oliveira, 97, of Bay St., Fall River, died at home, Friday, June 8, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Fred R. Oliveira.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonina (Ferreira) Silvia.
A dedicated employee, she considered her years at Catholic Memorial Home and Saint Anne's Hospital a labor of love.
A daily communicant of Holy Name Church for the past 30 years, she was a member of the Women's Guild and Holy Rosary Society of the former Our Lady of the Angels Parish.
She leaves, 2 daughters, Therese A. "Terry" Ferland and her husband Henry and Madeleine M. Parent and her husband Robert, all of Fall River;
3 grandchildren, David Parent, Nicole Pezzullo and her husband Michael and Rachel Mello and her husband Keith;
3 great-grandchildren, Maryna and Michael Pezzullo and Kathryn Mello;
a brother, Arthur Silvia of Fall River;
and nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Manuel, Joseph, Antone "Mike", Augustine and Norman Silvia, Delia Couto and Alice Voltas.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Name Church at 11:30 AM.
Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
