Mary C. (Correia) Miska

Mary C "Florence" Miska, age 93 of 1215 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI, formerly of Eustis, FL and Fall River, MA, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Mary was pre-deceased by her dear husband of 61 years, Stanley R. Miska, who passed away on May 25, 2008 in Fall River. Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marianna (Arruda) Correia. She was the sister of the late Antone, Frank, John, Joseph and Manuel Correia, Theresa Moss and Mary Sousa. She is survived by her children Mary, David and Stanley Miska; her grandchildren Ethan and Ember Simmons, Kimberly and Stephanie Miska and three great grandchildren. Mary was a seamstress in Fall River for many years at Cherry & Webb. In her retirement she enjoyed her home in Florida with Stan, her husband, and visits from family and their many friends. She was an accomplished seamstress, knitter and embroider. Her crafts grace the homes of her children and friends. A graveside service was held at St Patrick Cemetery in Fall River on September 2, 2009.
