Mary (Santos) Miranda, 91, of 4901 North Main St. Fall River, formerly of Rodman St., died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center, Fall River. She was the widow of Manuel Miranda.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late John and Antonia (Almeida) Santos, she lived in Taunton for several years and in Fall River most of her life.
She had been employed by Pepperell Manufacturing and Sarama Lighting for many years, retiring in 1980.
Survivors of Mrs. Miranda include 2 daughters, Patricia Costa of Somerset and Pauline Levesque of Tiverton; 4 grandchildren, Debra Raposa, Carrie Ann Blythe, Kristie Cahill and Greg Levesque; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8 AM from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. at 9 AM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
