Mary (Costa) Constancia Medeiros, 96, of Amity St., Fall River, formerly of Slade St., died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Manuel Pereira and John Constancia Medeiros.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Mello) Costa.
She was employed by Firestone Rubber, Fall River and US Rubber, Bristol, RI.
Survivors include 2 sons, Herman Medeiros and his wife Terry of Fall River and Raymond Pereira of Westport;
a sister, Hilda Proulx of Fall River;
2 brothers, William Costa and Thomas Costa, both of Westport, MA;
6 grandchildren, Kenneth and David Medeiros, Susan Dias, Sharon Norwood, Diane Costa and John Pereira;
great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Sheryl Levrault
and the sister of the late Virginia Braga, Josephine Lopes, Alice Novak and Manuel, John, Marianno, Ernest and Alfred Costa.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM.
Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
