Mary T. (Kosmo) Golen

Mary T. (Kosmo) Golen, 92, of Fall River, died peacefully Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the Highlander Nursing Home. She enjoyed spending time with family. Her passion being music, she was know at the nursing home to remember all the lyrics of the songs of her time and enjoyed singing in harmony with her sisters and dancing (especially the Polka). She leaves children, Richard Golen of Rhode Island and Victoria Richard and her husband Ronald of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Kristen Simas and her husband Brad and Brittany Richard; a sister, Theresa Carvalho of Florida and nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of the late John T. Golen; the daughter of the late Philip and Bertha (Karnas) Kosmo; and the sister of the late William and John Kosmo, Sue Sikora, Stella Gladu, Frances Neel and Wanda Hernandez. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the service from 8:30 to 9:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Flowers welcomed.
