Mary J. (Sutcliffe) Correira

Mary J. (Sutcliffe) Correira, 89, of 273 Oak Grove Ave, Fall River, formerly of the Hudner Building, So. Main St., died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Crawford Skilled Nursing. She was the wife of the late Everett Correira. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary J. (Sharples) Sutcliffe. She was employed by Firestone Rubber and Stevenson Manufacturing. She enjoyed country music, playing cards, crocheting, outings, puzzle books and trips to Foxwoods Resort Casino. Survivors include a son, Everett P. Correira and his companion, Mel Racine of Tiverton, three grandchildren, Debby Correira, Donna Thorpe and Everett Correira, III; seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Agnes Williams and Daniel, Lawrence and Willy Sutcliffe. A funeral service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
