Martha Lee (Bryan) Gelmete, 65, of Grove St., Fall River, formerly of Newport, RI, wife of Ronald Gelmete, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007.
A member of Post 486, VFW Auxiliary, she was employed by Providence Pile, Quaker Fabrics and People Inc.
Besides her husband of 36 years, she leaves, a daughter, Karen Lee-Maurice of Fall River; a grandson, Trottjoseph "TJ" Lee of Delaware; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Williams of Louisiana and siblings, Clifford Bryan of No. Carolina, Edna Wells and Anna Bryan, both of Newport and Jerome Bryan and Sandra LeComte, both of Fall River.
She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Jennie (Carter) Bryan and the sister of the late Kenneth and Robert Bryan.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 5:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Saturday from 2 to 6 PM LARGE PARKING AREA BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
