He was the longtime companion of 22 years of Dawn Silvia of Fall River and the former husband of Dora Lee Boyd of Fall River. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on May 16, 1949, the son of Pauline (Chervenak ) Michaud of Fall River and the late Ralph R. Michaud, he resided in Connecticut for many years and in Fall River since 1972. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving 2 tours of duty. He served on the USS Robert E. Lee, USS Coral Sea and the USS America. He enjoyed scuba diving and photography. Besides his companion and former wife, He leaves 3 daughters, Dawn Palmer (husband David) of N. Dartmouth, Tina Michaud of Fall River, and Lisa Silvia (husband David) of Swansea, a brother, David J. Michaud of Southbury, CT, his companion's daughter, Leah Silvia of Fall River, and 6 grandchildren, Jarred Palmer, Jessica Costa, Haleigh Palmer, David Silvia III, Jonathan Costa and Marquise Fernandes. He was the brother of the late Ronald L. Michaud. Private arrangements are with Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA.
