Marjorie E. (Lannan) Sherman

Marjorie E. (Lannan) Sherman, 78, of Hancock St., Tiverton, RI, beloved wife of Richard E. Sherman, Sr., died Sunday, January 13, 2008. Born and raised in Fairhaven, MA, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Elizabeth (Lyons) Lannan. Besides her husband of 61 years, she leaves a son, Richard E. Sherman, Jr. and his wife Karen of Broad Brook, CT; 4 daughters, Linda Monte and her husband Barry of Acushnet, MA, Patricia Mellekas and her husband Ted of Tiverton, RI, Susan Blair of Newport, RI and Joan LaBombard of New Smyrna Beach, FL; siblings, Phyllis Mullins of So. Dartmouth, MA and Ronald Lannan of Fairhaven; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Nancy and Jacqueline Sherman and the sister of the late Elizabeth Reed and John, Russell and William Lannan. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
