Marjorie A. "Margie" (Heroux) Oberg

Marjorie A. "Margie" (Heroux) Oberg, 66, of 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Swansea, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Romeo "Roy" and Mae (Kalesnik) Heroux, she lived in Swansea for many years. A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1957, she was employed by the Fall River Five Cents Savings Bank for many years. An avid crafter, she was a former Hospice Outreach volunteer and a former member of the Swansea Lioness Club and the Swansea Recreation Committee. Survivors include a sister, Maureen Marchand of Newport, RI; 2 brothers, David M. Heroux and his wife Patricia Backus of Somerset and Jeffrey A. Heroux of St.Louis, Missouri; a niece, Molly Heroux; 4 nephews, Nathan and Nicholas Heroux and Adam and Douglas Marchand and a grandnephew Peyton Marchand. Her funeral mass will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River. Visitation, prior to the mass in the solarium of Catholic Memorial Home, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
