Marion T. (Kenney) Jean

Marion T. (Kenney) Jean, 93, of Fall River, wife of the late Joseph E. Jean, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

A graduate of the former Sacred Hearts School and Sacred Hearts Academy, she was employed by the former Anderson Little Co. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and past-president of the Women’s Guild of Notre Dame Parish

and was a “lunch lady” at Notre Dame School.  She enjoyed volunteering as a poll worker for 20 years.

She was the mother of the late Joseph R. Jean;

She leaves her beloved grandson and caregiver, Alexander P. Jean (companion Rhiannon Sulik),

daughter-in-law Dorothy F. Sutter (husband Sam Sutter) and “grandkids” Clifford S. Sutter and Ava L. Sutter;

sister Mildred Laflamme (late husband Arthur); and nieces and nephews.

She was the the daughter of the late James F. and Mary Louise

(Labonte) Kenney and the sister of the late Louise Arnold,

Lillian Gariepy and James, Raymond and William Kenney.

Visitation Thursday, December 1, from 8:15 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 1, at 10:00 AM at Holy Name  Church, Hanover St.

Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.
