Mario Jorge Melo

Mario Jorge Melo, 62, of Fall River, passed away at St. Anne’s Hospital Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

He was the husband of Filomena F. (Teixeira) Melo.

Born in Capalas, he was the son of the late Alberto and Hilda (Tavares) Mello.

He was formerly employed by Rhode Island Hospital. His hobbies included fishing, traveling and gardening. He was a handyman.

Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Jennifer Mello, Shannan Mello and Jacklyn Mello; two grandchildren, Charlotte and Cameron; siblings, Lina Belchior (husband Luis), Neomi Albergaria (husband Richard), and Natalie Sousa; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lucy DeMelo, John Mello and Jerry Mello.
