Marilyn D. Tavares

Marilyn D. (Dube) Tavares, 72, of Fall River, wife of the late Ronald Tavares, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018.

She was a substitute teacher at the Silvia School. She loved music, the beach, camping and her children.

She is survived by two children, Ronald Tavares and Lori Desmarais, both of West Greenwich; four grandchildren, William Swiader, Natalya Tavares, Natasha Desmarais, Amanda Lake, Candice Giunta, and 2 great-granddaughters, Ciara Tavares and Aubrey Desmarais. She was the mother of the late Margot Tavares and the daughter of the late Alfred and Mildred (Walsh) Dube.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Please omit flowers, instead, please consider assisting the family in the funeral arrangements through Crowd Funding at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
