Marie E. Rego

Marie E. (Macomber) Rego, 81, of formerly of 130 Canal St., Fall River, widow of Manuel Rego, died Monday, July 4, 2011. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, she was a member of the Over Fifty Club. Marie was a former member of St. Mary's Cathedral and St. Louis Parish. She is fondly remembered by her son, William Schmidt and his wife Marlene of Concord, N.C., Grandchild, Michael Schmidt, great-grandchild Savannah Schmidt, Sister and Caregiver Beatrice Macomber, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret Charrette, Florence Poissant and William Macomber. Following cremation, a visitation will be held Friday, July 15 from 5 to 7:00 PM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Committal service and burial Saturday, July 16 at 10:00 in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
