Marie (Souza) Nicolau

Marie (Souza) Nicolau, 86, of Westport, wife of the late of Edward Nicolau, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017.

She was employed by the Diocese of Fall River. Marie loved traveling. She was a member of the Classy Ladies and the Book Lovers Group.

Survivors include 3 children, Edward Nicolau and his wife Wendy, Madeline Pelletier and her husband Michael and David Nicolau; four grandchildren, Kelly Pepin, Edward Nicolau, Katelyn Pelletier and Jennifer Nicolau; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Diane Sousa Riessen. She was the sister of the late Theresa Rezendes and the daughter of the late John and Madeline (Lombardi) Souza.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:45 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 AM. Interment, Beech Grove Cemetery.

Visitation, Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
