Marie C. (Bizier) Lawton

Marie C. (Bizier) Lawton, 89, of Fall River and Oak Bluffs, MA, widow of Philip D. Lawton, died Sunday, June 12, 2011. A member of ILGWU, she was employed by Louis Hand Manufacturing for 30 years. An avid Red Sox fan and animal lover, she enjoyed cooking and her home on Martha's Vineyard. She leaves 2 daughters, Suzanne (Mailloux) Coughlin of Hull, MA, and Christine Ayer of Somerset; grandchildren, Jackie Post, Allison and Stacey Pikiell, Jennifer Rimick, Jonathan and Justine Ayer; "grandchildren" Timothy Coughlin and Kimberly Pardoe; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Janet (Mailloux) Pikiell; and the sister of the late Frederick "Pete" Bizier and Anita Pikiell. Following cremation, a memorial mass will be held Saturday, July 9, at 9:00 AM in St. Anne Church, 750 So. Main St., Fall River.
