Marie F. "Mother Dear" (Sousa) Audet, 79, of Bates St., Fall River, formerly of Fordney St., former wife of the late Joseph Audet, died Monday, March 18, 2013. She leaves children, John, Joseph and Barbara Audet, and Susan Lima, all of Fall River, Anne Marie Audet of AZ, George Audet of FL, Jacqueline Berney of NC, Paul Audet of WA, Sharon DaCruz (husband Alberto) of Somerset and Karen Arruda and Jean Constantino (husband Bryan) all of Westport; 34 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Johanne Melancon of Westport and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Marie Sullivan and Richard, Carol and Lori Audet and the daughter of the late John and Anna (Herlihy) Sousa. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Name Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
