Marianne (Ward) Young

Marianne Ward Young, age 66, of Fall River, MA died unexpectedly August 2, 2009. She was born on January 18, 1943 in Medford, Mass, the daughter of the late Frank E. Ward and Catherine (Byrne) Ward and the sister of late Lorraine Bono and Barbara Bacci of Milton, Mass. She was a loving Mother, survived by her children with her former husband the late Charles B. Young; Charles A. and his wife Crystal of Kentucky: Kimberely A. and her life partner Brian Cabral, of New Bedford; Eric C. of New Bedford;Jacqueline M. Young and her life partner Milesio Medeiros of Fall River; Sandra J. Oliver and her husband Michael of South Carolina. She was the loving grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren Carlyn Cabral, Lindsay Chaves and her husband Danny Chaves and their daughter Dani Lynn; Shannon Cabral: Adam Young and his partner Holly Brett and their son Ayden; Myles Young-Medeiros; Eric (E.K.) Souza; Kelly Nicolau and her husband Mike, and their children Joshua, Ella; and Nolan; Jessica Young and her partner Frank Rego and their son Connor; Abigail Young Shonda Lynn Young; Kayla Lynn Applegate. She is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends. We affectionately called her the mayor of Kimwell as she was very active in trying to get everyone to participate in activities and to go out on trips. A celebration of her life will take place on Friday August 7, 2009 begining at 11;00 am at St. Dominic's Church, 1277 Grand Army Highway, Swansea, MA.We invite everyone who knew, loved, and cared about Marianne to attend.
