Maria Lucinda Vaillancourt

Maria Lucinda Vaillancourt, 82, of Fall River, former wife of the late Alcindo Medeiros and the late Robert P. Vaillancourt, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a hard working, religious and generous woman, she enjoyed sewing and cooking and was employed by Darwood Manufacturing Co. and Cliff Manor Nursing Home.

She leaves three children, Ronald "Rocky" Medeiros, Thelma Medeiros and Jacqueline Aguiar and her husband John, all of Fall River; grandchildren, Rocky, Liam and Juliannah Medeiros, Jonathan and Jordan Aguiar, Natashia and Jocelyn Mello and Jared Costa; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Bryson Aguiar and Giavera Santos and stepchildren, Robert Vaillancourt, Renee Sherburne and Michael Vaillancourt. She was the sister of the late Oswald and Manuel DeMello.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
