Maria De Jesus (Lopes Pacheco) Gervasio

Maria de Jesus (Lopes Pacheco) Gervasio, 90, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. She was the wife of the late Antonio L. Gervasio.

Maria loved to cook big meals for her family and spend time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed gardening. A woman of great faith, she loved to pray.

Born in Porto Formoso, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao Pacheco and Filomena (Lopes) Pacheco.

She is survived by her children, Mariana Gervasio Goncalo (husband Gervasio “Jeff”), John L. Gervasio, and Filomena “Fibbie” Gervasio Arruda (husband Carlos); her grandchildren, Jason Goncalo, Tyler Gervasio, Brandon Gervasio, Linzee Gervasio, and Evan Arruda; her great-grandchildren, Emma Goncalo and Sully Goncalo; and her sister, Elzira Da Silva (husband Jose P.)

Maria was the mother of the late Antonio L. Gervasio (wife Nancy) and Joe L. Gervasio; grandmother of the late Robert Gervasio; and sister of the late Joe Pacheco, Manuel Pacheco, Maria Raposo, Maria Da Luz Costa, and Maria C. Teixeira.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 7:45AM to 9:15AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St., Fall River,

followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd., at 10:00AM.

Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
