Maria (Furtado) Filomena

Maria (Furtado) Filomena de Jesus Pedrosa, 96, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Born in Sé�o Roque, Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, she was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and loved to walk.

She leaves four children, Julia Cabral Borges (late husbands Antonio Cabral and Norbert Borges) of Somerset,
Emidio Pedrosa and his wife Ana and Beatrice Viveiros and her husband John, all of Fall River and Maria Fatima Rodrigues (late husband Jacinto) of Swansea; ten grandchildren and one deceased, the late Sandra Cabral; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Ferreira Furtado and Martha (Jesus) Ferreira Furtado.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Santo Christo Church at 9:00 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
