Maria Fatima (Moreira) Cabral

Maria Fatima (Moreira) Cabral, 51, of Fall River, peacefully passed on at Charlton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 10, 2021 with her daughters by her side. Born in Capelas, Azores, she was the daughter of Artur G. Moreira and Cecilia (Rego) Moreira.

She was a loyal hairstylist employed by Daniel & Company in Somerset.

Yielding strong independence, Maria was a selfless, dedicated mother who hosted most family gatherings and provided unconditional love and support to friends and family. She lived life to the fullest, spending as much time with loved ones as possible. Maria loved traveling, attending concerts, playing computer and casino games, and cheering on the New England Patriots. Her music of choice included 80’s and country-rock.

Aside from her parents, Maria lives on through her two daughters, Ashley Cabral (significant other Sorothyarn Penh) and Brittney Cabral; six siblings, Sidonia Bravo, Ricardo Moreira, Arthur Moreira, Joe Moreira, Nelson Moreira and Stacy Miranda; a former spouse, Eduardo J. Cabral; many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Auclair Funeral Home in Fall River on Saturday, July 17, 2021 between 1:30-3:30pm, for those who would like to pay their respects.

Donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in her honor.
