Maria D'Atri

Maria D'Atri, 75, of 8 Mount Hope Ave, Fall River, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Crawford Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fall River. Born in Providence, RI, the daughter of the the late Vincent A. and Sarah (Hill) D'Atri, she lived in Boston for many years and in Fall River for the past 17 years. She had been employed as a motion picture projectionist at Opera House Cinemas, Newport for over 15 years. Her survivors include a brother, Louis D'Atri of Smithfield, RI; 5 nephews, Charles, John, Mathew, Daniel and Douglas D'Atri; a niece, Darlene Barber; many great nieces and nephews; a friend and caretaker, Patricia Casey of Fall River, She was the sister of the late Patricia D'Atri-Cairo. She was an avid animal lover. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 PM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River. Visitation prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM. Cremation to follow. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance to rear of funeral home.
