Maria C. Demelo) (Cabral) Carreiro

Maria C. (Cabral DeMelo) Carreiro, 74, of Fall River, wife of the late Manuel Carreiro, entered into rest Friday, August 26, 2016.

She leaves six children, Connie Valerio, Alda Hamilton and Luis Carreiro and his wife Kerri, all of Fall River, Herman Carreiro and his wife Wanda of California, Antonio Carreiro and his wife Nicole of Fall River and Paul Carreiro and his wife Karen of Providence; thirteen grandchildrn; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Olga Cardoso, Jamie DeMelo and Jose Luis DeMelo, all of Fall River, and John DeMelo and Januario DeMelo, both of New Bedford and nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Virgilio and Anna (DeLima) DeMelo and the sister of the late Jesse, Manuel and Natalia DeMelo.

Visitation, Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
