Maria R. (Oliveira) Brandao, 84, of The Highlander, Fall River, formerly of Underwood St., died Thursday, January 28, 2010. She was a housekeeper for the Dr. Alex Freeman family and a chef at T.A. Restaurant. Born in Fazenda do Nordeste, Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Serafin and Maria (Soares) Brandao, she was the widow of Manuel Fernando Santos; the mother of Rosa Rebello (husband Luis) and Lisete Ferreira (husband Duarte), all of Fall River and George Santos (wife Ana) of Brooksfield, FL; the grandmother of Sandra Camara (husband Eric), Ronnie Ferreira (wife Danielle), Ricky Rebello (wife Arlene), Tania Couto (husband Jeffrey), Andrea Perreira (husband Peter) and Kim Santos; the step-grandmother of Amy and Adam Santos; the great-grandmother of Christian and Alexandria Couto, Jade Perreira and Jacob Ferreira; and the sister of Beatrice Aguiar of Fall River and the late Maria Soares Teves and also leaves nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church, at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday, 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
