Marguerite (Welch) Dionne

Marguerite (Welch) Dionne, 82, of Davis Rd., Westport, formerly of Coolidge St., Swansea, died at home Monday, April 2, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Robert W. Dionne.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Joseph-Leo and Catherine (Barry) Welch, she lived in Swansea for many years and in Westport for several years.
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, she was employed by the New Haven Railroad and the Fall River Five Cents Savings Bank for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. McKowen and her husband James of Marion;
2 sons, Robert Dionne and his wife Judith and David P. Dionne and his wife Deborah Roher, all of Westport;
3 grandchildren, Jason Dionne, Cathleen Casebeer and Melissa McKowen Phelan;
5 great-grandchildren, Leonard, Andrew, Rosemarie, Jacqueline and Danielle;
2 brothers, Joseph Leo Welch of Dighton and Michael F. Welch of Fall River;
her dear friend and caregiver, Barbara Santos of Westport
and nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Just and Paul and John Welch.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, followed by The Liturgy of the Word and Final Commendation in Holy Name Church at 11:00 AM.
Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
