Marguerite (Boulay) Banville

April 10, 1926 — October 14, 2005

Marguerite (Boulay) Banville, 79, of New Boston Rd., Fall River, formerly of Riverview Towers, died Friday, October 14, 2005 at Kimwell Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond C. Banville. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Yvonne (Bonin) Boulay. A member of St. Anne Parish, she was past-treasurer of the parish Girl Scouts and a member of the former Dominican Sisters St. Catherine's Fund Raising Group and a life member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, now UNITE. Survivors include a son, Ronald N. Banville and his wife Michaelene of Somerset; a daughter, Janice Banville Deston of Somerset; a brother, Henri Boulay of Fall River; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Ethan and Jenna Banville, Kristin Corvelo and Alyson Deston; 4 great-grandchildren, Kiara and Soleil Corvelo and Emily and Meaghan Banville and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maurice "Red" Boulay and Concorde Aubut. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00. Burial Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Anne's Hospital, 795 Middle St., Fall River MA 02721.
