Margaret "Peg" (Kirby) Gardella

Margaret "Peg" (Kirby) Gardella, 90, of Lorraine Ave., Somerset, formerly of Swansea, wife of Charles A. "Charlie" Gardella, died Friday, August 7, 2009. A graduate of Case High School, she participated in student body activities. She was a benefactor of St.Vincent's Home, knitting and crocheting articles donated for "Aids Babies". Besides her husband of 67 years, she leave a son, Charles A. "Chuck" Gardella and his partner Donna Ferreira and a granddaughter, Angeline Gardella. She was the mother of the late Cpl. William K. Gardella, USMC (killed in action in Vietnam) and the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Neilan) Kirby. Visitation and flowers omitted.
