Margaret Anne Betty

Margaret Anne Betty, 72, lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018.

A member of the Dominican Academy, Class of 1964, she studied at Bristol Community College and Southeastern Massachusetts University and was a Fall River School Department teacher assistant for 37 years. She was past President and Vice President of the Catholic Memorial Home Resident Council and wrote for "Love Made Visible" of the Catholic Memorial Home newspaper.

She was the devoted cousin and true friend of Sister Barbara A. Kirkman, SUSC, Mary Robinson, James L. Robinson and Elizabeth LaPierre, the sister of the late Edward T. Betty, Jr., and the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Kirkman) Betty.

Her funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Catholic Memorial Home. Visitation prior to funeral mass at Catholic Memorial Home from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.
