Marcelle "Marci" (Maynard) Howard

Marcelle "Marci" (Maynard) Howard, 69, of Swansea, wife of Gilbert A. "Gil" Howard, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. An accomplished self-taught artist and floral designer, she was co-owner of M & M Florists and designed for several area florists and was recently retired from Delken. She enjoyed painting, gardening, clamming, camping, sitting by the fire, her kitten "Callie" and also like to "yard sale". She was a member of the BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1964, serving on the reunion committee. Besides her husband of 50 years, she leaves three children, Shawn Howard and his wife Susan of Rehoboth and Scott Howard and his wife Jennifer and Stacy Surrell and her husband Stacey, all of Swansea. She was also the beloved grandmother of Hannah, Rebecca, Kimberly and Sarah Howard and Jacob and Jayna Surrell; the sister of Jeannine Anderson of Warwick and the late Muriel Giorgio and the daughter of the late Arthur and Corrine (St.Laurent) Maynard. Visitation, Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
