Marcel H. Gagne

Marcel H. Gagne, 70, of Hartwell St., Fall River, died Saturday, September 27, 2008. A retired carpenter and stone mason, he made exquisite lighthouses and birdhouses as a hobby. He leaves 5 children, Richard, Raymond and Robert Gagne of Texas, Marcella Gagne of Fall River and Diana Gagne of Westport, MA; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, Jacqueline Helmholty of Florida, Henriette Yergeau of East Freetown, MA, Micheline McCrohan and Marguerite Haskins, both of Maine, Carmen Tavares and Ghislaine Brown, both of Fall River, Reginald Gagne of Tiverton and Alfred Gagne of California and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Alfred and Rose (Desrosiers) Gagne, the father of the late Roger Gagne and the brother of the late George, Leonard and Ronald Gagne, Lucille Deschenes and Regeanne Johnson. A funeral service will be held Monday evening at 7:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation, Monday prior to the service from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a committal service in Notre Dame Cemetery at 11:00 AM. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
