Manuel M. Rego

Manuel M. Rego, 84, of Tiverton, formerly of Fall River, died Monday, May 19, 2008. A retired construction worker, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting and was a member of the Fall River Rod and Gun Club and the Paskamansett Beagle Club, Dartmouth. He was the father of Lorna Greenwell of Tiverton, Joseph Rego and Robert Rego, both of Prospect, Maine and the late Daniel Rego; the grandfather of Adam Greenwell (wife Staci) Joshua Rego, Rebecca Greenwell, Daniel Rego, Dorothy Rego and the late Jeremiah Rego; the son of the late Joseph and Georgianna (Oliveira) Rego; the brother of Richard Rego and Mabel Julius, both of Fall River, Georgianna Souza of Maine and the late Elzira Braga and Arthur, Joseph and David Rego and the former husband of Dorothy (DeMello) Gordon of Maine. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
