Manuel L. Morgado

Manuel L. Morgado, 76, of Fall River, husband of Grace (Amaral) Morgado, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at home. Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria Teresa (Oliveira) Morgado.

Besides his wife of 53 years, he leaves two daughters, Anna Costa (husband Mark) of New Bedford and Ruth Toppan (husband Ted) of Swansea; a sister, Laurinda Pereira, Joseph Morgado, Antonio Morgado, Rosa Braga and Grace Resendes.
three grandchildren, Aaron Costa, T.J. Toppan and Bryce Toppan; many nieces and nephews.
He was an active member of the Portuguese Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, New Bedford. Now retired, he had been employed by Swan Finishing.
He was a Benfica soccer fan.

A service will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 742 County St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
