Manuel "Blue" Miranda

Manuel "Blue" Miranda, 79, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018. He was the husband of the late Helen Marie (Courville) Miranda and the late Rose Marie (Branco) Miranda. He owned an operated Manny's New and Used Furniture and Manny's Antiques, Fall River. Previously, he was employed by Colonial Casket Co. and Pilgrim Casket Co. He was a member of the Over the Hill Gang and Mighty Mike's CB Club.

Survivors include four children, Manuel Miranda (wife Pauline), Susan Miranda, Barbara Britto and Lori Botelho (husband Mark), a brother, Edward Miranda and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late James Rego Miranda and Mary M. (Medeiros) Miranda and the brother of the late Gary Miranda and Mary Alice Perreira.


A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
