Manuel "Babe" Medeiros, 83, of Portsmouth, RI, husband of the late Dionizia "Jenny" (Feijo) Medeiros, died unexpectedly, Friday, October 26, 2007.
An Army veteran of WW II, he was employed by Martelly Construction. He enjoyed watching wrestling, cowboy movies and the wheel of fortune and cherished time with his family and pet "Maurice".
He leaves 2 daughters, Angie Isadore and her husband Eric and Theresa Narciso and her husband Reginald, all of Portsmouth; a brother, John Medeiros of Portsmouth and nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Jesse and Angelina Medeiros and the brother of the late Joseph Medeiros, Marion Mello, Cecelia Morris and Mary Botelho.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral, Fall River, at 10:00 AM.
Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105.
