Manuel "Manny" Isabel

Manuel M. "Manny" Isabel, Jr., 64, of Portsmouth RI, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Elaine B. (Lagace) Isabel. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Delia (Furtado) Isabel of Fall River and the late Manuel Isabel, Sr., he lived in Fall River for many years and in Portsmouth for the past 21 years. He was employed by CHF Industries, Fall River for over 10 years, retiring 2 years ago. An avid bowler, music lover and musician, he played the trumpet for the North Tiverton Band for over 20 years. Besides his wife and his mother, survivors include a son, Raymond M.L. Isabel of Portsmouth; an aunt, Dina Holiday of Georgia and nieces, nephews and cousins. Following cremation, a funeral mass will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Angels Chapel of Good Shepherd Parish, Dwelly St. Fall River. Visitation and flowers omitted.
