Manuel Ferreira

Manuel Ferreira, 81, of Wood St., Fall River, formerly of Somerset, husband of the late Gilberta (Cordeiro) Ferreira, died Friday, January 11, 2013. He leaves two children, Lucy Pereira and her husband Adelino of Westport and Manuel Ferreira and his wife Nora of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Pereira and his wife Christina of Westport, Amanda Pereira of Houston and Keith Lafleur of Fall River; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Alexandre Pereira of Westport and nieces and nephews. Born in Feteiras do Sul, Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Isidoro) Ferreira and the brother of the late Maria Lourdes Lourenco. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Bernadette Church at 9:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Tuesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
