Manuel J. Correia, 80, of Fall River, husband of Maria E. (Cordeiro) Correia, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Manuel was born in Mosterios, St. Michael, Azores. A US Marine Corp. Veteran of the Vietnam War, he then served 22 years in the Army National Guard. He worked as a Foreman for Methuen Construction, for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, cooking, target shooting, gardening, traveling, the ocean, and the Azores.

Besides his wife of 55 years, he leaves two children, Debra Correia of Westport and Michael Correia (wife Deborah) of Somerset; four grandchildren, Devhan, Adam, and Joshua Correia and Destiney Kotarba; two siblings, Jose Correia (wife Natalie) and Natalie Bettencourt (husband Antonio) all of Fall River, and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Jose and Irene (Paulo) Correia.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
