Manuel E. Arruda, Sr.

Manuel E. Arruda, Sr., 56, of Mulberry St., Fall River, husband of Victoria (Souza) Arruda, died Sunday, December 23, 2007. The son of the late Manuel and Rose (Pimental) Arruda, he was employed by Arkwright and Priority Finishing companies and Garelick Farms. A member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, he cherished practicing his faith and enjoyed gardening, working on his car, making models and playing the guitar. Besides his wife of 36 years, he leaves, 2 sons, Manuel E. Arruda, Jr. and his wife Jennifer and Stephen Arruda, all of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, Aaron Letendre and Zachary and Skyla Arruda and siblings, Danny and Julie Arruda, both of Fall River and Dorothy Marion of Westport. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation, Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
