Madeline S. (Bishop) Pereira

Madeline S. (Bishop) Pereira, 83, of Somerset, beloved wife of James R. Pereira, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Oliveira) Bishop and the sister of the late Henry Bishop and Audette Richard. Besides her husband of over 60 years, she leaves son Christopher J. Pereira and his wife Dawn, daughter Melissa Mullaney and her husband Daniel, and daughter Susan Pereira.  She also leaves grandchildren Conor, Quinn, Nicholas and  Heather.  In addition to spending time with her family, Madeline enjoyed shopping, sewing, cooking, music, and Maine.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. John of God Church, Somerset. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.

Visitation Saturday prior to her funeral at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St. Fall River,  from 8:30 A.M. to 9:15 A.M.
