Madeline Mello

Madeline (Pereira) Mello, 92, wife of the late John Mello and the late Charles M. Mello, of Fall River, passed away on March 4th 2018.

Madeline was a sewing machine operator for Darwood Manufacturing for many years. She loved to cook, bake, and garden. She also enjoyed meeting with her friends every morning at McDonald's for coffee.

She leaves her son Steven Mello and his wife Michelle of Fall River; grandson Jeffrey S. Mello of Barrington, RI; step-children Gerald Mello of Fall River and Marilyn Lake and her husband Larry of Rochester and her special friend Herbert Menezes of Somerset. She was the daughter of the late Manuel Pereira and the late Mary (Ferreira) Roias; the sister of the late Thomas Pereira.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Anne's Hospital and Oncology Department for their compassionate care.
