Madeleine G. (Couturier) Clohecy

Madeleine G. (Couturier) Clohecy, 63, of Tiverton, wife of Michael Clohecy and daughter of the late Paul and Angelina (LaFrance) Couturier, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014. A retired loan officer, she was employed by the Garment Worker's Federal Credit Union and the former Fall River Five Cents Savings Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and the outdoors. Besides her husband of 43 years, she leaves 3 children, Steven Clohecy of Fall River, Karen Chaves and her husband Jackson Chaves, Jr. of Little Compton and Susan Moniz of Fall River; grandchildren, Desmond and Nicholas Clohecy, Haley, Amber, Jackson and Ella Chaves and Julie and Jill Moniz; siblings, Ronald Couturier of Fall River and Claudette Couturier of Warwick, RI and nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton at 10:00 AM. Burial, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
