Luis M. Furtado

Luis M. Furtado, 55, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Luis M. and Maria I. (Raposo) Furtado.

Luis worked at Camara’s Bakery, where he baked bread, for many years. He was a Benfica fan and loved to dance and listen to music. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. And, he had a soft heart and loved to help others.

He is survived by his wife, Zelia M. (Roias) Furtado;

his daughters, Ana Karina Oliveira and Kayla Furtado;

his granddaughters, Kelyana and Sofia;

his siblings, Paula Furtado, Antonio Furtado, Roger Furtado, Ines Alves, Joe Furtado, and Rui Furtado;

and many nieces and nephews.
